Date:

Speaker: Martin Hess (Former MPI Magdeburg and now post-doc at SISSA within the AROMA-CFD ERC project)

Venue: Room 004, ground floor, SISSA main campus, Via Bonomea 265. Trieste

Abstract:

This talk deals with the application of the reduced basis method to microwave systems governed by time-harmonic Maxwell's equations. Several issues are adressed, such as rigorous error estimation, stability preservation and stability constant estimation. Additionally, model reduction results on a dispersive model of the Maxwell-Debye type are presented.
